Asus Transformer Prime Already Getting Ice Cream Sandwich???

So if you haven't heard about the Asus Transformer Prime, it the the biggest demanded tablet on the market right now.  There were very few lucky enough to get the first batch that came out.  Some pre-orders from Amazon and Best Buy were received and then for one day only Office Depot stores had them and sold out.  Why does everyone want it? Well it's the first Quad-Core Tablet on the market.  Considering Asus also always makes great tablets for the prime, it will probably be one of the least expensive quad cores that comes out this year.  Remember Asus was the reason why Motorola, Sony, Acer and Toshiba had drop their tablets down to $399 this year before the other companies could even start selling.

Now we do get one really form of good news about the new tablet that's leaving everyone anxious at the moment.  It will be getting Android 4.0 on January 12th.  This is really exciting because there is no better operating system out there right now compared to Android 4.0.  It is just a pleasure to use.  This also means for most users, when the Asus Transformer Prime is released it will be ready for an incredible update.

Asus vs Hasbro: Will The Real Transformer Prime Please Stand Up?

As I've been hearing from many of you, yes the Asus Transformer Prime has been SLOWLY coming in with it's pre-orders.   I have already met people that got their pre-orders in from Best Buy and Amazon so they are out there just hard to find right now.  Unfortunately one reason why it's been having difficulties being released is literally in the name.  It would seem that Hasbro, which brought use the Transformers cartoon characters, has filed a lawsuit against Asus for using the name "Transformer Prime" because they feel it is too closely related to the Transformer Optimus Prime, one of their main characters.  It would seem Hasbro is trying to put a halt to all sales of the tablet until this matter is rectified in either Asus changing the name of the tablet or Asus paying Hasbro a nice pay day.  I'm going to keep all my not so nice comments to myself but what do you think?

***Android News*** Asus Transformer Prime Update

So a lot of people I know that have been waiting for the Asus Transformer Prime have been asking me why is it not here yet?  The truth is it was known a while back that it would be delayed in Europe and Canada, but Asus had said that the Prime would not be delayed in the US and would come out on  December 19th.  Of course the 19th has already came and passed so we are all kinda wondering what's going on. Well while we haven't heard any official news from Asus we have heard something from Amazon and Best Buy concerning Pre Orders.  In an article I was reading, I found out that some Amazon preorders have already moved to in transit and Best Buy stores might be able to take pre orders as soon as the holiday weekend is over.  That's the latest news so far, but check back for more news to come.

***Android News*** Asus Transformer Drops in Price

Asus has always been one of the best companies for the money when it comes to electronics.  The Asus Transformer is a prime example of that, and it just got better this week.  Best Buy has dropped one of the best selling tablets of the year down to $299.  Better get them while they're hot.
